Fascinating to say the least. The interplay with Neurotransmitters and Immunology. I love to eat. Eat healthy, eat wise, live wise. (Please fast!)
- Immunology
Many facets. Ties in with many body systems and many diseases. Connected to gut health. Essential to good health.
3. Psychiatry
I am not a great fan of psychiatrists. Theory is great but what they do in practice is quite off-putting for me. That is to put it mildly. Psychiatry was my best and favorite discipline in my final year. Unfortunately, it soured on me. The theory was and is fine, but the doctors involved put me off completely. I do not agree with what they do. Thus, I walked away.
Till Psychiatry was pushed back onto my lap. My diagnoses of Schizoid-Affective Disorder and the rubbish associated with it I can barely stomach. The destruction the medicines wrought on my health and life was and is and will be terrible. My life was and is and will be washed down the drain.
But not my child’s health and life and potentially the health and life of other people. Maybe people I can help.
That is what this site is about amongst a lot of other things. People with psychiatric problems who are fed up with their treatment, their medicines and or their psychiatrists.
If you have a psychiatric matter to discuss, you are welcome to discuss it on this forum. Without badmouthing psychiatrists. We are forced to live with them and they can be of help.
Importantly please, no bad manners or foul language. Criminality will not be tolerated. Keep things civil and legal, please.
