MY HOBBIES

Cannabis medicine is of interest to me. Please keep in mind that cannabis is of limited use in clinical medicine. Clinical Medicine is where the rubber of Health Care hits the road of the difficulties and demands of life.

Firstly, Cannabis is dangerous medicine and is not to be encouraged. Cannabis is addictive. One out of ten users get addicted to it. This is an unacceptably high addiction rate. The co-morbid effects of cannabis (Bad side effects.) are also many and not desirable.

Cannabis should only be used where it is in a balanced CBD to THC ratio. Not the selectively cultivated varieties of cannabis strains where the THC ratios are very high compared to the CBD concentrations. The anti-inflammatory properties of the CBD oils in cannabis are responsible for the many good effects of the plant.

In my analysis cannabis should only be used with caution in extreme medical conditions. Some of these examples are:

  • Severe cancer pain where addiction concerns are not warranted.
  • Severe Parkinson’s Disease where cannabis has clear and proven beneficial effects.
  • Childhood epilepsy where regular medicines fail to control seizures and cannabis has therapeutic effect.

Cannabis treatment with well-balanced THC to CBD ratios should be approached carefully and monitored closely. An experienced Health Care Professional would of great help. Since cannabis treatment is unconventional in current Clinical Medicine, even guidance from Health Care Professionals on the Internet could be of great help.
